OD Custom Homes is a boutique luxury custom home builder in Austin, Texas. We build one-of-a-kind, architect-designed custom residences for high-end clients, no spec homes. Our work is premium, and we're ready for our online presence to match that level of polish.

We're hiring a local Content Creator to capture high-quality photos and videos at our luxury job sites and finished homes. You'll be the person behind the camera, filming details (materials, finishes, craftsmanship) and occasional "how it's built" moments (e.g., insulation, framing, systems). You'll deliver organized raw footage (and optionally edited clips) that our team/Marketing VA can turn into consistent social content. This role is perfect for someone with a great eye who can elevate homebuilding, making it look calm and aspirational.

Key responsibilities:

• Visit job sites and completed homes to capture premium, steady footage (walkthroughs, detail shots, progress moments)
• Create lifestyle-forward visuals that fit a luxury brand
• Capture periodic educational content ("here's what we're doing today and why it matters")
• Coordinate shoots with the owner/team around construction schedules and site readiness
• Deliver clean, well-organized files (labeled folders, dates, project names, shot lists if needed)
• Follow basic brand direction for framing, pacing, and tone; incorporate feedback quickly
• (Optional) Provide light edits, short clips, or rough cuts to speed up publishing

Qualifications:

• Proven experience filming homes, real estate, construction, design, or lifestyle content (portfolio required)
• Strong smartphone videography skills required; camera/gimbal/drone experience is a plus
• Excellent eye for composition, lighting, and architectural details
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable working around high-end clients and active job sites
• Able to take direction and repeat a consistent "look" across projects
• Bonus: basic editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, Canva, etc.)

Pay and benefits:

• Full-time, W-2 Employment
• Pay: $22 - $26 based on experience (hourly or per-shoot/project structure)
